Danny Gokey's Audition Video From American Idol 8 - I Heard It Through The Grapevine

Danny Gokey blew the judges away with both his voice and his story. Danny lost his wife Sophie not too long ago. She was his inspiration and the reason why he auditioned for Idol. Here he is singing I Heard It Through The Grapevine from the Kansas City, MO auditions. He easily made it through to Hollywood.

The Kansas City auditions also uncovered another Idol hopeful, Anoop Dog Desai:

    I am seriously going to miss him now that he's been voted out of the competition, but here's hoping someone picks him up REAL quick and gives that man a recording deal!!! Danny Gokey fan forever!!
